The Protesting Farmers on Friday decided to hold the ‘Delhi Challo’ march till February 29 and stay put along the Punjab-Haryana border following the death of one protestor and injury of 12 police personnel in the clashes at the Khanuari border. Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) will hold a candle march on February 24 and seminars related to farmer’s issues will take place on February 25. The protesters are planning to burn the effigies of the World Trade Organization and the Centre on 26 while several meetings of the two outfits will happen over the next few days. The decision on how to proceed with the protest will be taken on February 29.
