After the turmoil in the Himachal Assembly caused by the cross-voting of six Congress MLAs that resulted in the win of the BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan in the Rajya Sabha elections and the resignation announcement of a minister, the ruling Congress government has finally managed to get the situation under control. The government passed the budget on Wednesday and Minister Vikramaditya Singh reassured that he will not resign until the talks with the leaders conclude, again providing a breather to the Congress.
The Assembly has reserved its decision on the suspension of the six MLAs who cross-voted in the Elections that triggered the chaos.
