Avtar Saini (68) was former Intel India country head and credited with working on Intel 386 and Intel 486 microprocessors. He led the design of the company’s Pentium processor. A cycling enthusiast, he was in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra when he was rammed by a speeding cab, killing him. Due to the impact the bicycle frame was wedged under the front wheel of the cab.
